Do you like Movies? ... I DO! I am really into movies. As seen by my updates I see almost all there is to be had. Some I pay for, others I get into for free because my friend works at the movie theatre. I pretty much enjoy any movie I waste my time to see and feel I have good movie taste. Some of my favorites from varying genres are "The Big Lebowski" "Bottle Rocket" "Batman: The Dark Knight" "The Signal" "Black Snake Moan" "Sunshine" and "High Fidelity." To give a clearer sense of my taste some of the worst movies I wasted my time to see were "Dragon Wars" (AWFUL!); "Spiderman 3" (BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP EVER!!); any type of "Scary Movie" or "Epic Movie" or "Date Movie" or "Meet the Spartans" spoofs that they've been pumping out for the past decade and the recent "Babylon A.D. (Hugest Vin Diesel let down EVER!). Stars I am a big fan of are Vin Diesel (yeah that's right I'm not afraid to say it) Leonardo Dicaprio, George Clooney (the fucking man), John Malcovich, and up and comers Shia LaBeouf and Emile Hersch (see anything with this guy in it). As I said before I am a huge fan of movies, so much that years back I decided I could no longer wait and hope friends would want to go see a movie that I began just seeing them by myself. I'm really into the story telling that goes into a movie and certain movie ideas or images that are like moving paintings. Another symptom of fanaticism is when I see a teaser or a first trailer for a movie that I think is really good and some sequels as well that I refuse to watch any trailer after. I did not see one frame of "The Dark Knight" until I was sitting in my seat on opening night. I however don't dress up or paint my face or camp over night for a movie. I get why people do it and its cool, whatever, just a little overboard for me I think. On top of my love of movies I enjoy such TV shows as: Favorite Video Games: Hope to give you all good movie suggestions and help make sure you don't waste your money at the theatres. I try to make sure who these movies appeal to because I don't know about you but when I look up a movie review, which I never do because I think they ruin movies, I would like to know what the first scene of the movie is kind of information and if it's my type of movie. Don't tell me the whole story that is the movie and then tell me that you thought it sucked! I want to know who's in it, what the fuck are they doin', and what type of movie is it? That way, like with previews, I can at a glance determine if I'm going to see this movie. If you're the type of person who doesn't see movies much, like Rob, then I'll make sure you'll at least see the best the year has to offer for you. Movie Week: 10/3/08 to 10/10/08 |
